Terms of Service
1. Service and provider
BeepSweep is an AI telephone receptionist and voicemail-to-text service offered by Basinc B.V., incorporated in the Netherlands and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 72055197 (hereinafter: BeepSweep, we or us). Contact: support@beepsweep.app.
By creating an account or using the service you accept these Terms of Service (Terms). If you use the service on behalf of a company, you accept these Terms on behalf of that company.
2. Account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide upon registration and for keeping your login credentials confidential. Report any misuse or unauthorised access immediately to support@beepsweep.app.
One account per person or company. Accounts are non-transferable.
3. Licence
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your own business purposes. You may not resell, sublicence, or use the service to process calls on behalf of third parties outside your own organisation.
4. AI processing and call data
BeepSweep processes incoming telephone calls automatically. To do so, it uses third-party AI services, including OpenAI (Realtime API). Call audio and transcripts are transmitted to OpenAI's servers for processing. OpenAI processes these data as a processor on behalf of BeepSweep and may not use them to train models.
By using the service you authorise BeepSweep to record, transcribe and summarise incoming calls to the extent necessary for the provision of the service. You are solely responsible for informing callers that their call is being recorded and processed by an AI system, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations (including the Dutch Telecommunications Act and the GDPR).
5. Retention of call data
Call transcripts, summaries and associated metadata are retained for a maximum of 12 months from the date of the call, after which they are automatically deleted. You can delete individual calls earlier via the app.
6. Subscription and payment
BeepSweep offers a free tier and paid subscriptions (Pro). Current prices are listed at beepsweep.com/pricing. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually and renew automatically unless you cancel before the next billing date.
To cancel, use the account settings or email support@beepsweep.app. Upon cancellation you retain access until the end of the paid period. Refunds for remaining days are not issued unless required by law.
During the beta phase the service is available free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce a paid subscription after the beta ends; we will notify you at least 30 days in advance.
7. Acceptable use
You may not:
- use the service for illegal activities or to process calls without a lawful basis;
- use the service to record calls without the caller's knowledge or consent where required by law;
- attempt to circumvent or probe the technical security of the service;
- use the service to send spam or misleading communications;
- infringe the intellectual property rights of BeepSweep or third parties.
8. Availability
We aim for the highest possible availability but make no uptime guarantees, particularly during the beta phase. We are not liable for damages resulting from unavailability, maintenance or outages.
9. Intellectual property
All rights to the software, the platform, the name BeepSweep and associated materials vest in BeepSweep. You retain all rights to the call content of your callers. By using the service you grant us a limited licence to process that call content solely for the purpose of providing the service.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, BeepSweep's liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding three months, with a maximum of €500. BeepSweep is not liable for indirect damages, consequential loss or loss of profit.
BeepSweep is not responsible for errors in AI-generated transcripts or summaries. Always verify critical information at the source.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or if the service is discontinued. You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Danger zone (your own seat, or as an administrator the entire company) or via beepsweep.app/account/delete. If you can no longer log in, use the form on that page or email support@beepsweep.app.
12. Amendments
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will notify you at least 14 days in advance. By continuing to use the service after the effective date you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes shall be submitted in the first instance to the competent court in the Netherlands. As a business user (B2B) both parties waive the application of consumer protection provisions.
